After the hot-dip galvanizing process, Zincol Lombarda offers—upon request—a post-treatment passivation bath for zinc-coated metalwork. This process extends the brightness of galvanized surfaces and delays the oxidation of zinc, effectively preventing the appearance of white rust. Passivation of steel, stainless steel, and other metals does not alter the product’s appearance or properties and allows for further surface treatments, such as painting.
Our environmentally conscious process uses a chrome-free solution made from a blend of organic substances, ensuring effective protection against oxidation during storage, while respecting environmental standards.
